Methodology

Sources and confidence

This page summarizes the source log behind the Fish It Tools data pack, prepared 2026-07-12.

How the data is handled

The data pack contains factual game data such as names, odds, mechanics, and item stats. It does not reproduce source prose or game artwork. Community sources are cross-checked where possible; confidence labels reflect that these are community-maintained references, not developer-published game data.

Fish database — 176 entries

Fish names, rarity, base odds, and locations are primarily from the BloxInformer Fish It wiki, reconciled against the GameDevTools drop-chance calculator and other available fish lists. Coverage reflects islands through Ancient Jungle and Classic Island; newer islands may be incomplete. Confidence: medium-high.

Luck, rods, and baits

Luck mechanics and enchantments draw on TechWiser, itemku, and VSPhone; rod and bait stats are cross-checked with allthings.how, BloxInformer, and community guides. Additive stacking is a community-inferred model with medium confidence because no developer closed-form formula is published.

Secret odds, codes, and updates

Secret odds are reconciled from GameDevTools and BloxInformer, with per-entry confidence shown on the Secret odds page. Codes are based on Beebom and should be verified in-game because they rotate quickly. Update dates are third-party reporting and may need re-verification after patches.

Known limitations

Fish values are not listed as fixed numbers because catch value depends on base value, weight, and mutation. Unknown odds remain marked unknown. Some source pages block automated access, so those references are treated as lower-confidence corroboration rather than definitive proof.
